Quail Springs Permaculture

 Capital Campaign Launch:
Seeds for the Next Generation

@ Soho Restaurant and Music Venue
October 18
th, 2015, Doors Open at 6:30pm, Show at 7:30pm
w/Cuyama Mama & The Hot Flashes

Join the Quail Springs Permaculture community at Soho Restaurant and Music Venue as we come together for a foot-stomping metaphorical barn-raising to begin our capital campaign, Seeds for the Next Generation, to secure the Quail Springs land and build critical infrastructure to carry our work into the future.

Warren Brush, Quail Springs co-founder and board president, and Janice Setser, Quail Springs executive director, invite you to celebrate harvest time together, to find out about the work Quail Springs Permaculture is seeding locally and around the world, and to join us.

As is their custom, the band will be handing out assorted gifts (fresh farm produce, cd's, and more) to their apron- and suspender-flaunting fans (until the wicker basket is empty), so mark your calendars, pick out your aprons and suspenders, and plan on coming out to the party!

Cuyama Mama & The Hot Flashes is Jan Smith, Andrew Clinard, Ryan Spaulding, Willow Brehmer and Lindsay Allen. Instruments usually present are three or four voices doing a lot of harmonizing, guitar, bass, drums, keyboard, and a range of percussion and other music making devices, with sets ranging from covers of Gillian Welch to John Prine... plus original songs with an emphasis on story. Formed in early 2014, when a gaggle of farmer/musicians from Quail Springs Permaculture Farm put together a dance band for their local bar, they call their sound "high desert dance music". They promise to make your toes tap and your tail feathers shake.

Earthtrine Farm, Nojoqui Farms and Tutti Frutti Farms are gifting fresh seasonal produce to be featured in the evening's meal in appreciation of Soho Restaurant and Music Venue's commitment to buying their produce from local farmers. We share this gratitude for our community.

Tickets are available for $10,

(also at the door), and dinner seating is available
